Rose defeated Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted under three minutes Round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time that a woman has ever been a fighter in a tournament in a major promotional organization worldwide. Namajunas won several fights following this fight and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
